Mukilteo, Washington
Mukilteo is a city of about 19,000 residents located 25 miles north of Seattle. Set on the shores of sparkling Puget Sound with stunning views of the majestic Olympic Mountains beyond, it's no wonder the name "Mukilteo" derives from a Native American word meaning "Good Camping Place." The city sees lots of activity every day, as it is a regional transportation hub for the State Ferry System, hosting the highest volume ferry run in the entire State Ferry System, and it is also a neighbor to the Boeing Company's Everett facility. Mukilteo's residents have a great sense of pride, history, and tradition of involvement in this scenic waterfront community.
